Sammy Jay Akins AKA “Sam I Am” left this earth on April 8th 2022. Not because God needed another angel as He already has myriads but because Sam’s body tired out and he needed to rest. So Sam now is in God’s memory along with his dad Sam, mother Mickey, his two brothers Ronnie and Steve as well as his older sister Dawna and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He leaves behind his one and only child Bradley Akins who he loved more than life itself. Also his six sisters, Bonnie, Candy, Kathy, Debbie, Terry and Toni, his little sis that was always there for him as well as many nieces, nephews & cousins. Sammy was known by many, in his black cowboy hat dancing circles around most and singing karaoke at Haps. Those who helped Sammy ,we thank you very much! Sammy will always be remembered for his quick wit and his sugar coated yet deliberate sarcasm. Sammy will always be loved, missed and never forgotten! Until we meet again our dear brother! There will be a family gathering later this summer.
