He is survived by his sister Marie Amundson, brother Jerry (Sue) Anderson, children Matt (Kris) Lane, Pat (Lisa) Lane, Tami (Fred) Pippin, grandchildren Garrett Lane, Parker Lane, Kendall Lane, Gus Deschamps, Bryanna Deschamps, James Lane, Johnny Lane, Morgan (Blayne) Underdahl, great granddaughter Elsie Underdahl, nephews Andy Anderson, Kasey (Linsey) Amundson, and niece Kim (Zen) Meismer.
He is preceded in death by the love of his life Gwen Anderson and his parents Gladys and Andrew Anderson.

Sincere heartfelt condolences to the Anderson family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Howie was a “1971” Helena High classmate of mine. He was such a wonderful guy, so kind and I loved his sense of humor and enjoyed being around him. He will be greatly missed by our “71” Classmates and so many others. Wishing you all peace and comfort in the days ahead for you. God Bless.
Sincerely, Susan (Keim) Doran 🙏❤️

I met Howie several years ago at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Every year we renewed our friendship there. We exchanged gifts and laughs.
I had recently been trying to get a hold of him to see if he was coming this year; 2023.
My condolences to his family and friends.
