Donald Eli Grant was born on August 23,1943 in Sandpoint Idaho to Ronald Eli Grant and Retha Mary Grant(MeeDark).He was the fifth of seven boys. At age of seven the family moved to Helena Mt.
After his fathers death he took on various manual labor jobs to help in providing for the family. Don entered the service and was in Vietnam .He was last stationed at Ft .Lewis Washington. He left the military and soon became a concrete mason , helping build the interstate bridges when interstate was being constructed. Later on Don choose to work for the school district allowing him to be home with family.
Don met Ester Ella Grant(Stanford) and married the love of his life on November 16,1974.They raised two daughters Angel Grant and Darla Grant.
He is survived by Daughter Darla (Darrell) Silvan, granddaughter MaryElizabeth Silvan(Helena), Grandson Eli Silvan (Missoula) Granddaughter Curin (Jordan) Lee (Belgrade) great granddaughters Ragon and Clara Leep.
