Mary D. “Dot†(Kelly) O’Connor, 79, of Helena, formerly of Darien, Il passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 6, 2011._x000D_

“Dot†was born in Oak Park, Il to Daniel and Frances Kelly. After graduation from Providence High School she started working for Sears, Roebuck and Co., until she retired after 44 years of dedicated service._x000D_
_x000D_
Dot lived, worked and played in Chicago most of her life. She moved to Montana 12 years ago. She loved the friendly people of Helena and the majestic Montana scenery. _x000D_
Her interests included family, gardening, crossword puzzles, and reading. She was a devoted parishioner of SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. She also belonged to the Razzle Dazzle Divas – Red Hat Chapter and cherished her friendship with these ladies._x000D_

Dot is survived by her daughter Eileen (Scott) Goldthwait, of Helena and her sister Virginia R. (Jack) Curry of Mountain Home, Arkansas. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-grand niece and nephew; other relatives; and her special furry friend Max._x000D_

Dot was preceded in death by her husband James; her parents; her brother Gerald and his wife Theresa; and her brother Thomas Kelly. _x000D_

Dot will be truly missed by her family and friends. Her positive attitude, exuberance for the holidays, love of country, and devotion to God describe the life she led.
