George Warren Randazzo, 84, of East Helena passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. George was born July 11, 1927 to Sam and Virginia (DeBenedetta) Randazzo at Donaldsonville, Louisiana._x000D_
George was known in his early years as “The King Fishâ€. He enjoyed his music even swooned the ladies with his ukulele playing. George married Barbara Lee on October 30, 1954 in Reno, Nevada. He raised his family with an 8th grade education and retired from his job as General Foreman from Weyerhauser after 26 years earning the respect of many._x000D_
George loved and played music for over 40 years. He was a Bass Player both standup and electric. He loved Rhythm & Blues, Jazz and Big Band._x000D_
George being from Louisiana he loved to eat and loved to fish. His favorite saying was “It ain’t nothing but a meatballâ€._x000D_
He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Marie Colleret, and brother Maurice Randazzo. George is survived by his wife Barbara of 57 years; children Connie L Clark, East Helena, Sam G. Randazzo, Castro Valley, CA, Michelle L. Morris, Waterford, CA, Terry Watson, Keyes, CA and Toni Randazzo, Libby, MT; brother Anthony Randazzo, Tracy, CA; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. _x000D_
Family requests donations to St. Peter’s Hospice, 2475 Broadway, Helena, MT 59601. Visitation will be 5pm to 7pm, Wednesday, at Twichel Funeral & Cremation Service, 314 N.
