Daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, friend. Lois Ann Anderson donned many hats throughout her life and doffed these hats on Dec. 30, 2011, at the age of 60, when she went to meet our Lord. _x000D_

Lois was born in Great Falls and passed away in her home in Helena. _x000D_

Lois was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Donald Espelin, and sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Jack Kovis. _x000D_

Lois is survived by her mother, L. Evelyn Espelin; former husband and lifelong friend, Mike Anderson; son, Lucas Anderson; daughter, Jessica Barnett, and grandchildren, Chase and Morgan; daughter, Catlin Bickerstaff (John), and grandchildren, Emma and Brooke; sisters, Connie Fullmer (Mike) and Jenny Norrid (Don); brothers, Rick Espelin (Sarah) and Scott Espelin (Lisa); seven nieces and five nephews; and five grand-nieces and three grand-nephews. _x000D_

Lois graduated from Helena High School in 1970. She worked at her father’s medical practice and numerous other medical practices in Helena throughout her life._x000D_

Lois was very passionate about her family and enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with them. Lois was an avid crafter, making jewelry, sewing and collecting buttons._x000D_

Lois was an incredibly loyal friend. There is a great void left in all our hearts which will never be filled because of the love that Lois shared with us all and we rejoice in the day that we will be with her again. _x000D_

Cremation has taken place and remains will be interred at Sunset Memorial Gardens in a private ceremony at a later date._x000D_

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 4 p.m. at the East Helena Volunteer Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Lois.
