Francis Marion “Frank” Hill was born in Fountain Co. Indiana on February 13, 1935 to Francis Marion Hill and Georgeanna Warrick, he passed away on June 6, 2012. In 1952 Frank joined the United States Air Force serving his country for 21 years. Frank served one tour of duty in the Korean Conflict and two tours of duty in Vietnam. Frank was stationed in the South Pacific for 17 years while there he flew a supply mission to the scientists at the South Pole. After retiring from the military he made his way to Montana where he met Joan Anderson they were married in 1992. Frank is survived by his wife Joan and step children sons Tom (Janie) Anderson, Jim (Christine) Anderson, daughters Kay (Alan) Charles, Buffy (Larry) Woodring and Susie Collins. Frank is also survived by several step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Come help his family celebrate Frank’s life at a gathering which be held at the American Legion Club in Townsend on Saturday June 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Please make any memorials to the donor’s choice.
