We are mourning the loss of our loved ones, Matthew Boegli, 29, Crystal Ross, 29, Breighton (Woody Woo), 4, and twins, Maddison (Sissy Lala) and Peighton (Peany), 3, of Townsend, due to a fatal crash on June 19.
Matthew Carl was born in June, 1985 to Sharon and Paul Boegli. Matt became a young dad, he had a rough side to him. Matt loved Baseball and had a very large collection of baseball cards. Matt was a drywall construction worker and spent many hours away from his family at work. Matt also loved other sports as well as video games. Some of Matt’s favorite teams from College to Professional were the Colts, the 49ers, North Carolina Tar heels and he would immediately either turn on the sports channel or grab the sports section of the paper.
Matt and Crystal met in 2008 and started their family in 2009. Life was not always easy and they required help from friends and family quite regularly, but they would press on and keep going day after day.
Preceded in death by Matthew’s Parents, Paul and Sharon Boegli, Crystal’s father, Mark Ross, and Crystal’s cousins, Curtis and Jamie Brewer, and Laura Rolland.
Crystal is Survived by her Mom, Stephanie (Howard) Lund; brother Johnathan Brewer (Olson); half-brother Josh; grandparents Charles and Patty Brewer; Uncles, Stephen (Tina) Brewer, Charles Brewer Jr., Doug Ross Jr., Terry Ross, and Burt Ross; Aunts, Tracie (Tom) Kiesel, and Penny Guthrie. Cousins, Kirsten, Austin, Shaylene, Amanda, and Isaiah; including other numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Matthew is survived by two children, Shelby and Dominick; brother, William Boegli, and sister Theresa Pomerleau of Townsend.
Services are being held, 3:00pm, Thursday, June 26 at Twichel Funeral & Cremation Service, 314 North Rodney. Following the service a reception will be held at the Helena Valley 4H Community Center, 2605 York Road. Although I did not know this family until this tragedy I wanted to send my thoughts and prayers for all family left behind to grieve for this beautiful family. My heart is just broken for Matthews family as I read this obituary and learn his parents were gone before him. To his brother, and his sister and his children I am deeply sorry for the loss of your daddy and your brother and his family. Death is final and to his brother let me say that we don’t always like the things people do or the way they live or the choices they make. It doesn’t mean that we don’t love them. It simply means that we don’t have the power to change who they are. Only God can do that! Don’t grieve over the what if’s or the wishes to turn back time to try to change things. I know that you are grieving but you have nothing to regret. You loved him and thats what God does, he loves us but he allows us to make our own decisions. He’s always there waiting for us to come to him and say Im ready to make some changes but I need your help. I think God gave him that last thought to cry out for mercy to save them. God did just that and took them all home. Hold your head up son and grieve for your brother but don’t do it with regrets. He loved you too. Things do get in the way sometimes but the love is always there. Don’t let satan torment you with the things that were not perfect between you. He was your brother and you have so much grief to face right now and for a long time. God is good and I pray that he will comfort your hearts and bring you peace. I am praying for you young man and Matthews family but you have touched my heart and I will send up extra prayers for you. Im so sorry!
