Virginia Louise Thompson passed away on March 16, 2016 at her home. Virginia was born December 30, 1933 to Joseph and Stella Daulhausen. She grew up on Spokane Creek, attending a one room schoolhouse with her sister Helen and her brother Frank.
Virginia moved to the Sienna Club in Helena with Helen to finish her education. She married L. Douglas “Doug” Thompson July 5, 1952, and they had three boys.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband Doug, son Gary Leroy, sister Helen, and her mother and father.
She is survived by her brother Frank and Joyce Dahlhausen of Moccasin, MT, her sons Michael (Linda) of Ronan, MT, Bart (Ellen) of Helena, MT, grandsons Judd (Megan), and Chance, granddaughters Ann, Sara and Samantha and Chase, and great grandson Lincoln. Virginia lost her son Gary 19 days before her death.
Graveside services for Virginia and Gary will be Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Helena, MT with dedication by Celebrant Shaylene Lockard.
