Alan L. Hale, a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Friend and so much more, went to Heaven on Saturday, April 23, 2016.
Alan was born in McNary, AZ on February 24, 1953 to Norman and Claudia Lee Hale.
As a child Alan spent lots of summers in Eagan, AZ with his grandfather Gale, working in the garden, fishing on the Black River and just enjoying being with his grandfather. Alan talked a lot about how much he learned from his grandfather. That was one of Alan’s biggest dreams was to be a great-grandfather.
Alan came from a big family, 5 sisters and 1 brother. There was always lots of laughter and fun even through hard times.
Alan was a jack of all trades. He logged in the White Mountains of Arizona. He was a store manager, truck driver, miner, bar tender, cook, could run a blade dozer and loader and was even in politics. He was House Representative in 2011. He was on the following committees: Agriculture, Natural, Resources and Taxation.
Alan wanted to keep natural resource jobs in Montana so children raised here wouldn’t have to leave Montana to find work.
Alan first met his wife Gail riding down the road on her strawberry roan horse. He told his friends he was going to marry that girl someday. 6 months later they were married and it would be 45 years in August 2016.
Alan is survived by his loving wife Gail, his sons Robert, Ronny and Rody, daughters Nicole and Cassie. Their family’s wives, 15 grandchildren, 3 sisters, 1 brother, many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be set for a later time.

It feels like my heart has been slowed and reality is out of touch, due to this huge loss.
Family events will never be the same without the man that loved them most, preparing the feast, playing with the babies, still flirting with his bride of 45 years, and reassuring each one of his children that they are gifted enough to meet their dreams and overcome their fears and pains.
I could talk forever about this loss on earth because it is big!, but his instructions were to place our eyes on the BIGGER picture. “Okay Grandpa, but I will still miss you so, so much!”
He said, ” The LORD has a plan and we need to ask to be part of that plan, instead of asking for just what we want.”
Hugs to all who’s lives were touched by this beautiful man. My life has been forever changed.
Love you Grandpa!

Gail and family-
Terribly sorry for your loss, we just heard about it. We didn’t know Alan for very long, but he made a lasting impression upon us. His honesty and straight forward manner are something to be admired in this day and age. Our hearts go out to you and your family, and our prayers are with you.

Condolences to the Hale family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says God, “heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds.” May God bring you comfort and peace.
