Judy lived at the YWCA when I worked there. She came from Vermont and left Helena to live in Alaska and Hawaii. While working downtown Helena, I looked out my window and saw her after many years. I tried to re-establish a friendship; Judy held strong and resisted. I saw her walking all over Helena for a few years. I often said hello. Judy lived life on her own terms. I admired that. We made a plan to visit Gladys’ grave at Forestvale. She loved Gladys and so did I. We never made our little trip to Forestvale.
Praying for your comfort, Judy, as you rest in Heaven.

Judy was my mom’s best friend. They met in Vermont,
shared a couple of decades together and traveled to Hawaii and Alaska. My mom respected Judy’s desire for privacy thus they had a long friendship. Rest in peace, Judy.
