On Saturday, December 11, 2021 Joseph E. Braoudakis peacefully passed away with his loving wife by his side after fighting a long battle with ALS.
Joe was born in New York but later moved to Montana where he called home. He worked for many years as a roofer. Joe’s interests included anything outdoors. He loved hunting, camping, hiking, shed hunting and so much more. He was well known for his willingness to help others.
Joe was the son of Dorothy Kahler Braoudakis and Dante Melonio. Joe is survived by his wife Melissa M Reed, his two sons – Chef Joseph (Brittany) Braoudakis and Staff Sergeant Jassan (Christine) Braoudakis. His two beautiful granddaughters – Kyleigh and Ryleigh Braoudakis, his brothers and sister – Robert (Cathy) Viores, Debra (Dale) Reese, Angel (Stephanie) Negron, Pete (Summer) Negron and a few cousins, nieces and nephews. Joe is predeceased by his father Dante Melonio and siblings Mark Kahler, Nadine Braoudakis, Dante Braoudakis, Demtrios Braoudakis, Nicklos Braoudakis.
A viewing will be held from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Friday, December 17th at Retz Funeral Home, 315 E 6th Ave, Helena, with a memorial service to follow at 5:00 pm.
