Adam David Zielie, age 33, passed away on Thursday evening, July 20, 2017, as a result of a single motor vehicle accident that occurred on Birdseye Road just west of Helena, MT. Adam was born on February 28, 1984, in Helena to Gary and Cathy Zielie of East Helena, MT. An East Helena hometown boy, he attended Helena High School prior to obtaining his GED and heading into the work force. Adam could fix anything and was considered a gifted carpenter, honing his skills through the years working for various contractors on numerous construction projects. Adam was also a very talented cook and loved making people happy through his cooking. He had worked at Touchmark and the Quarry but was most recently employed at the Early Bird Café. Being able to watch someone enjoy a meal that he had prepared would make his whole day. Adam married his wife Holly, whom he absolutely adored, on December 15, 2015, and together they had been raising their precious daughter Audrey. Adam lived a simple life and his happiest moments were spent visiting his mother, helping his friends, and taking his family on day trips into the mountains where they enjoyed spending many hours together hunting and fishing and camping. Adam leaves behind his grieving widow Holly, along with their daughter Audrey, sons Gavin and Parker Zielie, and Natalie, Asher, and Grady Croston. He is also survived by his parents Cathy and Gary Zielie, brother Shane Zielie, Bill Zielie, Helen and Len Blancher, and Cindy and Mike Evenson of York, MT. He is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents Audrey and Rolland Evenson, and Ellen and Grayson Zielie, and his uncle Lon Zielie.
Memorial donations can be made to the Adam Zielie Benefit account at Valley Bank in Helena. The way that Adam lived his life, he has blessed his family with the continued love and support of his many friends. May he rest in peace. Amen.
The funeral is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Friday, July 28, 2017 at Fortress of Joy Church with interment following at City of East Helena Cemetery. To offer condolences please visit www.helenafunerals.com.
