The Lord called Almeda to his big house on July 21st. J George and Molly Fox were blessed with the birth of their only daughter Almeda Loraine on September 11, 1929. She grew up with three brothers.
She spent her youth in Laurel, Montana. She met the love of her life, Harold Ostwalt. They wed on September 18, 1948. She worked for a short time at Metropolitan Life in Billings. She had the toughest job, homemaker most of her life. After Harold received his degree in education they traveled to Columbus, Popular, Harlowton and Helena. Being a teacher Harold needed summer employment. This employment as an insurance adjuster allowed Almeda enjoyment of traveling to many parts of the United States.
Helena became their final stop and they purchased a home in the valley. She enjoyed gardening and relaxing in back of the home in the summer afternoons, a very peaceful and quiet life style. In their younger years they enjoyed fishing and being out of doors together. Almeda and Harold adopted two of her brother Ken’s children after his untimely death in 1961.
One of her other passions was bowling. She participated in league bowling in Harlowton and Helena. After retiring Harold and Almeda used bowling as a social event with a group of friends at the Capital Lanes.
