Barbara Stone Carter was born June 30, 1955 in Anaconda, MT; she passed on January 5, 2020 after a long battle with A.L.S.

She left behind her partner, Chris Krukowski and his family, brothers Rory and Jake Stone and Jim Kralic, sister, Cindy (John) Carter, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was scrappy and small like a bobcat and stubborn as a mule, she will be missed.
In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to the A.L.S. Association or an equine therapy association of your choice.
A family gathering will be planned in early spring!

I learned so much from this “scrappy” lady…from excellent recipes for fish and game to the best vacuum I ever bought. What a life fully lived. I wish I could have had the chance to know her better. Condolences.

This is the first day I met Barb in Waterville, Maine. I loved her from the beginning. She had such a warm smile. The thing that really impressed me was how she made my brother Chris smile. I really never saw my brother “in love” in that way. He never did PDA’s until Barb, I knew she was a keeper.
Over the years we had fun ice-fishing, cooking together, bird hunting, and just hanging out at their place waaaaaaaaaaay down the dirt road.
Barb has left a void in our family that will be felt forever. I love you Barb, say hi to Nana!
Much love, Kate & Don Gooding

Wonderful picture. Thank you to you, Chris, and all of his family for making Barb part of your family. Who ever thought she would even entertain being a Red Sox fan?! She was very happy with Chris and I am so happy that she found so much love.

Oh Kelly, she was a true sister to me. I think of her everyday, well she made me potholders for almost everyday! 😉
