God reached to Mom’s hand for her eternal life in heaven on March 11, 2013. She was loved and will be missed by her four daughters and their families.
Survivors include Cathlene (Mike) Millay and Jennifer, Denise, Michelle and Michael; Ginny (Moris) Thomas and Janssen; Mary Lou (Wade) Welch, Anthony, Joseph and David; Susanne (Bill) Hellman and Callie; Lorelei, Patrick and Colter; all of her beloved grandchildren; and all of the beautiful people that came into her life who meant so much to her.
Barbara retired as postmaster at age 52, allowing her to enjoy 20 years of dancing, painting, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Barbara will be remembered as always having a smile on her face and having a great sense of humor. She leaves us the legacy of loving one another and paying it forward.
A celebration of her life is planned for a warm, sunny day.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barbara’s name may be sent to the dialysis unit, in care of St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation, 2475 Broadway; or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
