I just found this site: Now I can share my respect and love because Betty and I were best friends. At this time of the year, I remember the fun Betty and I had together for over 30 years. We did so many yard activities when she lived next door to me near Bozeman. We worked together on gardening and crafting. My husband, Dallas enjoyed Betty and he was also a part of the fun. We helped her in her yard and she helped us in our yard.
She was an artist in making center pieces. I have many beautiful displays in my house that she made for me when we shared birthdays and Christmas times. The angel piece she gave so many years ago is a wonderful memory and stays on the shelf in my living room.
We kept in contact weekly about our families and then when she moved away to her home on the mountain. She dearly loved that place and worked everyday in the yard. We shared plants, too. That beautiful yard was Betty’s.
Betty came to visit me and I went there, too. I am so sorry for family members who missed out on some of those times. If any member would like to hear some of our stories, I will write them down and send it by mail. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of those great memories and Betty, my friend.
