Beverly Ann Westrup Guerin, passed from this world on October 9th 2018. She was born on a cold snowy day in Plentywood Montana on November 12th 1942. She was born to William Westrup Sr and Alice Torpen Westrup. She lived in Comertown and on the Torpen Farm before moving to Helena in 1946. She attended School and married her husband Francis Guerin Sr in Helena. When he shipped out to Germany, she returned to Plentywood to graduate.
She worked many different kinds of jobs. Capital laundry as an ironer, Head Start as a teacher’s aide, she was a Vista volunteer, a hot lunch aide at Smith school and Helena Middle School, she worked at the Hillbrook nursing home for 15 years in the kitchen, and she spent her later years working for Westmont at the Dorothy house and the Farm in the Dell retiring in 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, two great-grandsons, son-in-law Thomas Quesnoy and best friends Linda Bushnell and Jeannie Walker.
She is survived by her husband Francis Guerin, sisters Peg and Vi and her brother Bill. Her children Lori, Joe and Tara, and Terry. Adopted children Betty, Mike, and Leah. Her grandchildren Nathan and Cassie, Mavrick, Josh and Michelle, Justin and Joel. Adopted grandchildren Ann, David, Amanda, and Mirsa. Great-grandchildren Kenny, Harmony, and Thea. Godmother to Terry. And special friend Doreen Kluch.
We will be celebrating her life on her birthday November 12th at the Eagles 16 on fee Street. The time will be 6 pm. This is a potluck dinner if you’re able to join us please do.
