Lit a candle in memory of Carol Henry

Mike and family – I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Carol. As you know, Carol and I worked together for many years, and were friends even after she retired. I have many happy memories of the laughs and adventures we shared. I remember her belly-dancing, we beaded together, we knew about each other’s families and the progress we were making with them, we helped each other out at work, and supported each other. I will always remember the trip we made to Long Beach, California. We stayed an extra day over, and went over to Catalina Island, and went on a glass-bottom boat! We smuggled a bottle of wine, sat on a stone wall looking over the bay, and shared the wine. It was so much fun!
I hope you can hang on to the happy memories you have of the time you had Carol in your lives.
She will be deeply missed.
Peace and love to you during this difficult time.
Patty Marcil

Carol was one of a very small group of people at work who helped lend an air of lighthearted fun to what was often a rather negative atmosphere. This world could use more personalities like hers.

My family and I would like to offer our deepest sympathies to you and your family. We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are never alone. Turn to the Holy Scriptures for guidance and to help soothe your heart. Psalms 34:18 assures us that God is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirit. Please accept our deepest sympathies.

We will never forget Carol’s laughter and how she used to snort while laughing. We are praying for Mike and family during their time of grief. Bob and Grace Speicher

I worked with Carol for 25 years. She was a good, kind and hard working person. She will be missed. May you rest in peace, Carol

I worked with Carol for a few years. She was a rose among thorns and always had a smile, funny story, and a willingness to help anyone with anything. Grief never ends … but it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness nor a lack of faith; it’s the price of love. You were loved Carol, and you will be dearly missed.
