In Memory Of

Clifford O. Booth

September 24, 1947 – July 6, 2012

Helena – Born on Sept 24, 1947 in Lampass, TX to Clifford and Ann Booth, Clifford Otis Booth, Jr, 64, passed away at his home on June 7th. Clifford joined the Army from 1968 to 1971 serving one year in Vietnam, he then served in the active National Guard Reserve as a Supply Tech and later as a Personnel SGT. While serving in the Guard he met his wife, Louise Komar, at Ft. Campbell and they married in 1985. Following his military service, he went to work in the Civil Service working at the 97th General Hospital in Germany and the Ft. Sill Hospital before eventually moving to Montana where he worked at the Dept. of Revenue before he retired. Clifford enjoyed Glacier National Park and loved to visit with people. He was exceptionally good at recognizing music. Clifford would often amaze people with his ability tell people who had sung the song and when it charted. He also loved the movies, especially of the horror and sci-fi genre. He was preceded in death by his parents but leaves behind his wife Louise; a brother Michael of Albuquerque, and his adopted family that considered him as one of their own – his father in law Davis J. Komar; brother- in law and sister in laws Barbara Komar, William Komar, and Cheryl May all of Great Falls and Patricia Komar of Portland, OR. A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Twichel Funeral & Cremation Service Chapel located at 314 N. Rodney. A military graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11 am at the Montana State Veteran’s Cemetery at Ft. Harrison.

I just found out today about the death of my cousin, aka “Buster”. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. I let his other cousins know. Although we had lost touch with him, we all have great memories of times we spent together. Please accpet condolences from the Texas Booths.
