“Cindy” Cynthia Lee Devine of Helena, Montana, passed away early morning of May 27th, 2022. She was 58 years old. She was born on August 14th, in 1963, to her parents James and Elaine Rang, in Sidney, Montana, where she spent her childhood and early adult life.
Cindy met and married Joe Devine, her love of 20+ years, in 1984. They blended their families and together shared many children; Desta, Jeremy, Jade, James, Jace, Jake, and Jamison.
Cindy, in her loving nature, cherished her 7 children, all of her 19 grandchildren, and 3 great-grands. She was the mom that never missed a basketball game, the parades-and-cakewalk grandma. Every child she ever met, she left them feeling loved. A faithful Christian, Cindy was a light to all those who knew her. She had a heart of gold, with a caretakers soul.
Cindy graduated as an RN from Helena College University of Montana in 2005. Even with a 6th grade education, she pushed on and worked hard to accomplish her goals. She showed her family what resilience truly is. She followed her calling to help her community as a nurse, devoted many years to St Pete’s and Family Outreach programs. Cindy married Jim Jacques in 2009 and together they shared many memories.
Cindy will always remain in our hearts as our forever flower child, our protective matriarch, proud mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Gone too soon, she will be deeply missed.
Cindy is survived by her children, Desta (John) Pertarb, Jace (Hali) Devine, Jake (Kate) Devine, and Jamison Devine, of Montana; Her step-children, Jeremy Devine, Jade Devine, and James Devine, of California; Her grandchildren, Vivian, Sadie (Skyler), Isaiah, Aiden, Tristan, Kaycen, Karmen, Kadince, Andrea, Jadrien, Jaymesin, Taylin, Quinnlea, Jaelee, Jersey, James, Jared, Tatiyana, Jericho; Her great-grandchildren, Damien, Sylas, and Avery; Her husband Jim, her parents, and all her four siblings.
Cindy is predeceased by her grandmother Melva Cundiff and husband Joe Devine.
Funeral and Post-Service Gathering will take place at:

Many many memories and adventures for sure we raised our littles together for many of their younger years. Memories of you and I working together you were the nurse and I was your CNA.
