Daniel Douglas Haub went to be with the Lord December 17, 2022, after a long battle with prostate cancer. He was born on April 9, 1954, in Cut Bank, Montana to Mervin and Yvonne Haub.
Daniel proudly served in the US Army as a 13 Fox 10 and 13 Echo 10. He had a variety of driving jobs over the years and served the Helena school district as a janitor for many years.
He was well known for telling ‘Big Strong Grandma Jokes’, reading, and enjoying coffee with friends. He was an active member at First Baptist Church and was active in different churches in the Helena area over his lifetime.
Daniel is survived by his three children Melinda (Ivan) Melendez of Fort Myers, Florida, Kaleb (Julie) Haub of Billings, Montana and Michael (Larissa) Haub of Windsor, Colorado. He is also survived by his brother Nathan (Cathy) Haub of Overland Park, Kansas and twelve grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Mervin and Yvonne Haub.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church December 30, 2022, at 11:00am. There will be a fellowship lunch following the services. In-lieu of flowers feel free to give donations to First Baptist Church in Daniel’s honor.

I’ve known Dan since 4th grade at Central school in Helena, Montana. Walked home from school countless times with Dan just talking and playing as kids. It pains me to say goodbye. I will see you at the Pearly Gate my friend. Rest in peace old friend…………Kelly Jerome
