Danny James Owens, 56 of Helena passed away of natural causes on the afternoon of October 24, 2018. He was born on November 15, 1961 to Earlie D. and Carol A. Owens in Great Falls, MT. Danny graduated from high school in Great Falls, and then went to work. Throughout his life, Danny worked in the oil fields, as a mechanic, a volunteer fireman, and a Golden Glove Boxer. He worked in Watford City, ND East Helena, MT and Helena, MT.
Danny loved fishing, hunting, watching his favorite boxer fight on TV, and spending time with his kids and grand kids. Danny is survived by his mother, Carol Owens, sons Boyd (Saraya) Owens, Shane Owens, daughters Kayla Owens, Kieran Owens, and LaKayla Melstead, siblings Carla (Allen) Holland, Monica (Alan) Brassard, Doug (Bonnie) Owens, Travis Owens, and Robin Owens, grandchildren Miles Owens, Kade Owens, Trent Kaufman, Sophia McCormack, and Karlee Lister and several nieces and nephews He is preceded in death by his father, Earlie Owens and brother, George Owens.
Memorials in Danny’s name are suggested to be sent to 5080 Crescent moon Drive Helena, MT 59602. Cremation has already taken place, memorial and spreading of ashes will be posted at a later date.
