Debra Renee Havranek
August 14, 1960- August 25, 2016
Our beloved mother peacefully left her earthly body as the sun set on August 25th. The courageous soul, Debra Renee Havranek, 56 was loved by so many. The phrase “I am because you are” comes to mind as she instilled so much strength, compassion and empathy in her children who are passing it to their children and their spouses and all who crossed her path. The strength of her spirit is carried on in the hearts of those she left behind; her 4 children Kate, Casper, Anna, and Libby; their spouses Joey, Jon and Cody and her grandchildren who were her pride and joy Kylee, Tucker, Wyatt, Mason, Alyvia, Christian, Jonathan, Elijah, Camden and Colter. Clayton Wohlwend whom could have moved heaven and earth with the love he had for her and her father George Riebe and his wife Chris who have spent the last few months rekindling the father daughter relationship she has always wanted.
Our mom did not want a formal service instead she would want us all to carry her in our hearts and mourn her in our own ways. Anyone who was blessed by her presence knew when she walked in a room, as she was able to put a smile on everyone’s face, bad day or not she was present and had a way of making it all okay. We ask to honor her by continuing on what she represented which was showing compassion to those even when you don’t want to, give a warm smile, love deeply and be present.
“Do not stand stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft start that sine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.”

One of the finest women I’ve had the pleasure to come to know, she will be remembered by so many whose days she brightened with her helpfulness and smile. A legacy we all should strive for! Not to mention, one of the most diligent employees I’ve ever come across. Save a place for me, Deb!
