Dick’s crazy sense of humor is what I remember most. I could not be around Dick and Cindy without noticing the humor that was obviously part of their relationship. With all of life’s challenges, humor is a gift they possessed and gave out. After moving back from California, I reached out to give Dick a “Sister Hug.” However, he informed me he was charging a dollar per hug. He had retired and needed the extra cash!

I remember going to the lineman rodeo and watching Dick compete. He loved his job and was really good at it. I also remember our families getting together even if us kids played baseball im the field.
