I am so sorry Kim and Dr. Newman, and to the rest of your family for your loss. Don will be remembered in your hearts and memories. Becky Dawsey
Joan Demers says
I was saddened to hear of Don’s passing. I worked with him at Thermal Dynamics and enjoyed his upbeat attitude and enthusiasm. We had dinner a few times outside of work, as friends, and had a great time enjoying each others company. I am many years older than Don but felt he had an “old soul” and was wise beyond his years. We lost touch when I left Thermal but I’ve often thought of him. So sorry for your loss. He was a great man. Joan G Demers
Dana LaBounty says
Donald was a great friend to my brother when they were in high school. Being 3 years younger I may have been a pest but they let me hang out and Donald always some positive insight in a teenager kind of way. I remember them letting me come camping with them and going swimming at Trues Brook. Those were great times to be growing up around White River but they were just a little better with Don around.
I did get together with Don a couple times in the mid 1980’s after I got out of the Air Force and I enjoyed those outings. I lost touch with him after I moved for a new job and every now and again I would have a memory that included Don. I am just a little bit better for having known him.
I am truly sorry for your loss.
