Richard Van Nice says
Dwight was an intelligent and caring fellow with humor and thought in his life. He is and will be missed by all of us who encountered and knew him. Peace to him, his family and friends.
Van (Richard Van Nice)
Audrey Ardison says
Dwight was a kind and gentle man. He was highly intelligent and had many interests. He was musically talented and played a variety of wind instruments, including saxophone and clarinet. He loved jazz music and reading science fiction novels. He married (1/1971) and divorced (1/1976), and had a son, Michael, who now lives in Seattle, WA.
Ziphora Chaim says
Long ago he was my friend, who became a lifelong friend. I hope he has found peace, and found answers to all of his many questions. He loved his clarinet, growing up in Portland Oregon, and of course being a private pilot— flying for both fun and for the Montana search & rescue efforts. He is missed.
Marla says
Michael, I am sorry we never met. Did your Dad ever talk about me? I had a very close relationship with Dwight. We tried 3 different times, your Dad was fiercely loyal. I find it very strange that over the years he never mentioned you or his previous family(s) to me. I know that he dated several ladies in Helena before we got together, I am so sorry we could not make it work for the long haul, and we both had broken hearts in the end. I did see him not to long before he passed, it was after his cancer diagnosis, we had a very nice visit. He was so intelligent and always made me think outside of the box. Rest In Peace, Dwight.
