Ezekiel Muni Deo Jittu, 82, formerly of Hawaii, most recently of Helena, went to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 7, 2015.Ezekiel, the son of a Hindu priest, was born in Samabula, Suva, Fiji in 1933, married the love of his life Nancy Wadahara, Hawaii, in Southern California. Together they had 5 children Daniel Jittu, Pamela (Jim Souder), Marian Jittu, Chiko (Matt Olson) and Tim Jittu ( Brenda). Ezekiel is survived by his children and 12 Grandchildren, his younger brother Peter Lal (Saress) and sisters Rachel Raman & Ruth Jittu, as well as countless loved ones. He was predeceased by Nancy, his parents, several siblings and his 2nd wife, Evelyn.
Ezekiel devoted his life to teaching the Bible, both in the United States and around the world. In addition to his preaching and teaching, he most recently retired as a pastor with the Assemblies of God, a police chaplain and previously retired as a teacher from the states of California, Washington and Hawaii. Although he earned many degrees and accolades, his most coveted and priceless “award” was his wife and children. He loved his family.
Dad never met a stranger. They were all friends to be made. He had a sweet smile and was very kind natured. Most described him as a gentleman. He saw the good in all and forgave easily. He believed with his whole heart and always trusted God and his sovereign plan. He loved cartoons, old westerns, country music legends and dipping toast into his coffee. But most of all, he loved to study the bible. He knew he was a blessed man, and let us know every day!
Services will be held on Thursday, 12/17/15 at 4p at Hannaford Street Bible Church, 830 N Hannaford St, Helena, MT . Reception to follow.

I am so sorry to learn of Ezekiel’s passing. We always enjoyed having him at the senior center. He was a kind, Godly man, with the biggest smile, and always happy. He was very proud of his family. May all of your good memories help you through this time of mourning.

Bula Vanaka! — Ezekiel and I attended Southern California College in Costa Mesa together. We were close friends and stayed in touch occasionally through the years. While in school, we used to travel to local churches and preach together as a team. I always admired his heart for God and the anointing that was on his life and ministry.
Since then, my wife and I have traveled to over 70 nations in evangelism and training ministry. But our major focus has always been Pacific/Asia. I’ve been to Fiji several times, and our daughter & husband were missionaries there for 6 years. My last contact with Ezekiel was by phone while he was pastoring the AG church on the Big Island’.
Our Love & Prayer are sent to each one in the family. How great Ezekiel is loved…..especially by his Lord & Savior!
