With deep sorrow, we announce our mother Frances Lee Reller, quietly and peacefully passed & entered the presence of her Lord on August 5, 2025, at 100 years, of natural causes. Her faith in Christ Jesus guided her every step.
Frances was born March 10, 1925 in Boulengar, OK, raised in Mannford, OK until 1935, when her family moved to Sweethome, OR, she was 10 years old. After graduating High School, she met Joseph A. Reller and married July 2,1943 in Portland, OR. They moved to Belgrade, MT in 1952 as her husband’s family began building and operated Yellowstone Pine lumber mill on the West side of Belgrade, MT. She has lived on Monforton School Road since 1964.
Frances was the heart of our home and family, devoted wife of Joseph A (Sr), loving & nurturing mother of 6 sons, cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great grandmother. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unforgettable memories, dedicating her life to creating a home of warmth and hospitality for all who entered.
Her homemade apple dumplings, dill pickles and potato salad were legendary, her home always clean & orderly, even while raising her six highly active sons, gardening, canning and preserving food for her family, involved with family hunting, fishing, camping and eventually helping build the family cabin on the Continental Divide on the upper Madison River. Her holiday gatherings were eagerly anticipated by family and friends alike. She also spent time gardening her flowers, country walks near her home, visiting with family & friends, highly competitive at playing cards (Skipbo) and reading her bible.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Sr., 2nd son Joseph Jr. and 6th son Walter J.
She is survived by her 1st son Robert L., 3rd son Howard R., 4th son Donald J., and 5th son David B., and 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her family and circle of friends.
She passed into eternity with Revelation 21:3-7 being read to her.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
