So sorry for your loss Sharon and kids. I will always remember the bowling times and the poker games.

Even though I did not know Fred personally, I really wanted to express my condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. God truly cares how we feel and He is eager to reunite those that have fallen asleep in death with their loved ones once again. His word the bible speaks of this time occurring in the very near future when death will be a thing of the past. I wanted to share with you three scriptures, Isaiah 25:8 and Revelation 21:3, 4. I truly hope that those bible verses bring you comfort during your time of sadness.

To the Henderson family, I wanted to share what a pleasure it was to have Fred work for me when he was and equipment operator here in Redding. He was one of those rare employees that you could count on to answer his phone when called upon, no matter what the conditions or time of night. Please know that Fred had allot of friends here at Caltrans and will always be considered one of our Caltrans family members. He will be missed, however, God must have one heck of a snow storm going on up there and needs a top notch operator.

I think you all know how much Fred was loved and respected by everyone he worked with at Caltrans. It was a great privilege to work with him and I will never forget what a loving and wonderful person he was. He was always so kind and full of laughter. He enjoyed a good practical joke and was great at dishing it out. I was also fortunate to meet Sharon. We bowled together on the same team for a couple of years and I will never forget the times we had together. I can still hear Fred laughing in the background. He will be greatly missed.
Sharon, I wish you and the kids the best. I can only image the loss you must be feeling. I hope you will be able to make it back to visit us in Redding. I would love to see you again.
Take Care
