Gaile Nava Rodrigues, 87, of Helena, died of natural causes on Sunday, July 14, 2013.
She was born in Ogden, Utah, on May 15, 1926, to Roy Durney and Larette Anderson.
As a young girl, she lived in Richmond, Utah, and moved to Butte, where she graduated from Butte High.
Gaile married Delbert Rodrigues in Butte in September 1947. She was a housewife and wonderful mother.
Gaile loved to listen and support Delbert while he sang and played his guitar professionally at various organizations, church functions and for friends and family.
Gaile’s hobbies included sewing, cards and Bingo.
Gaile was preceded in death by her parents; son, Danny; daughter, Vergie; and her husband, Delbert.
Gaile is survived by her children, Dawayne Rodrigues, Carol (Walter) Immonen, Gloria (Mike) Bachmeier, Emily Fosness, Darrel Rodrigues, Delbert Rodrigues, Gail (Greg) Zezotarki, Donald Rodrigues and Anna Rodrigues; stepdaughter, Dawn Spaulding; sisters, Darling (Bill) Van Hoose and Verla (Dan) Taylor; brothers, Max (Darlene) Durney and Dan (Evelyn) Durney; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service will be conducted at Mountain Family Fellowship, 6145 N. Montana Ave., at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20. Graveside services will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
