On March 7, 2014, Heather Ella Nora Bengtson passed away with her loving husband at her side.
Heather was born Sept. 15, 1978, in Helena to George and Debbie Fussell. She lived until the age of 5 in Montana, then lived in Oregon until the age of 10, and then in Alaska. As a young adult she then came back to Montana. She loved being in Montana with her family. While living in Montana she had two beautiful children (Michael and Anna). Heather made lifelong friends everywhere she lived.
Heather was very creative; she loved making jewelry. She loved spending time with her children, watching movies with her husband, playing with her dog Dozer and camping.
Heather was preceded in death by her beloved grandfather Phillip DeMers; and grandfather George Fussell.
She is survived by her husband, Lenny Bengtson; her children, Michael and Anna; stepson, Kyle Robbins (Heather); her mother, Debbie Schmaus; stepdad Ken Schmaus; father, George Fussell; brother, George Fussell; brother-in-law, Carl Bengtson; sisters-in-law, Pam Lund, Ronda Ward and Wanda Pardon; grandmother, Donna DeMers; and mother-in-law, Velva Bengtson. She is also survived by many cousins and aunts and uncles.
Our deepest thanks to everyone who has shown support to Heather’s family members.
Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, March 14, at the First Assembly of God Church, 2210 Dodge Ave. Cremation has taken place. Memorials in Heather’s name may be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice.
What we have once enjoyed we can never lose; All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.
