I am sorry for your loss of Mr. MacIntyre. Please accept my condolences.
When you are grieving and hurting because of the pain in your heart because our enemy ‘death’ took your loved one, remember that God has promised to sustain you if you throw your burdens on him (Psalm 55:22).
Remember, too, you can always put hope in the resurrection (John 5:28,29). We can look forward to seeing our dead loved ones again.
I hope these scriptural thoughts bring you some comfort.
