Inge Traub, age 78, of Helena, MT passed away Monday, July 10, 2017.
Our beloved Mother, Oma/Grandma, Great-Grandma, and Aunt was born in Germany in 1938. She went through many ordeals during the war and relocation. At the age of 16 she started work in a mattress factory. Later, she worked for Siemens in Germany for 12 ½ years as a Solder on telephone systems for Post Offices. She met her Love, John Traub, in 1971 in Hof, Germany. They were married on June 30, 1973. In 1974 they and their three children moved to America to begin a new life. In 1994 both retired in Helena, Montana yet continued working part-time jobs for 13+ years.
Her beloved John passed away in 2013, after a short battle with cancer. Inge was grief stricken and became ill soon after with a lung disease.
Inge is survived by her loving son Wolfgang Traub of Germany; her son Daniel (Penny) of Tacoma, WA; her daughter Lorien (Carl) Pentecost of Helena, MT; 8 grandchildren, John and Kiefer of PA, Jeffrey of WA, Nicholas of CA, Tyler and Grace of MT, Christina of WI, and Jessica of SC; and 2 great-grandchildren, Isabella and Olivia.
Memorial Services will be held at:
Big Sky Fellowship, 8185 Avocet Drive Helena, MT Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 10:00am followed by refreshments and a Gravesite Service at: Helena Sunset Memorial, 7100 N. Montana Ave.

I posted once before and some how it was deleted! I had such Wonderful memories with both Oma and Opa. Playing cards, drinking wine, laughing and joking! Plus the very best was Oma’s German Potato Salad! I remember going on a few Horse drawn sleigh rides and all the German bickering !!! LOL You will be missed! XOXOXO
