“Big Jim – Harley Jim
Mr. Fixit –Mr. Honey-Do”
James Allen Wegner, age 57, of Helena, MT, suddenly and peacefully passed away of natural causes December 20, 2014. A descendent of a pioneer family of Campbell, CA, he was born on August 12, 1957 in Palo Alto, CA to Gerald and Ruth Ann Wegner where he spent his early years.

Jim’s involvement and contribution of time and effort he gave to Set Free, Sober projects and Cursillo organizations gave him great pleasure. He inherited excellent mechanical abilities that he shared with many. Jim also loved his last employment as a tow truck driver, which again shows his love of helping people. Big Jim was a kind and God filled man. His presence and love of the Lord filled the room and he brought laughter and thoughtful consideration with his one liners! The Good Lord has a special place for him and within the Helena Cursillo/Journey Community his booming voice and deep words of wisdom will not fade.

I will always remember Big Jim and the best time to pray. “Right now!” Jim was good to me, shared his laughter freely and spoke kindly. I was blessed to have known him.

Jim wasnt just my brother, he was one of my best friends, a man of God, and a great inspiration to many in the cursillo community. Especially new cursillistas. I thank God every day for the time I had the priviledge to know Jim. Jim, your message and your story will never end my friend, i promise you that. Cursillo candidates for years to come will continue to know and feel the power of your spirit, the power of god’s word that was and is always a part of you. Rest in peace and know that you are forever loved my friend.
