Jeffrey Scott Hoffman was born in Helena, Montana – “The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.”
Jeff is now resting pain-free and peaceful – out of life’s turmoil. A more compassionate and caring man there never was.
Jeff started working on trucks when he was a teenager with his dad, Jack. His Dad was a very good teacher and he learned the value of maintenance, going on to develop his career as an over-the-road driver of semis; and he was very good at it.
His career started with Capital Transfer in Helena doing local deliveries and from there, was all over the country working for various long-haul trucking companies.
Jeff is survived by his beloved dog Bella and his family that loved him very much to include his mom, Virginia Toycen and siblings Linda (John) Moots, Carol (Albert) Walsh, Wade Sawyer and Tammy (Mark) Copenhaver; good friend, Bill Dolan, Uncle Bill Hohn who had his most respect and love, aunt Peggy Jean and Elvina Sinclcair and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jeff is preceded in death by his dad Jack Hoffman, grandparents Bill and Barbara Hohn, and Aunt Donna Hohn.
Jeff is now in the “last best place” and we will always love and miss you.
Funeral will be Wednesday, July 15 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mountain Valley Fellowship Church on North Montana. If you wish to provide a donation, please donate to the Lewis and Clark Humane Society or charity of your choice.

I’ve lived next door to Jeff for a few years, now. I was shocked and saddened to learn of his sudden passing. He was such a nice neighbor. I’ll bet Baxter is glad to see him. 🙂
