In Memory Of

JoAnne Dee Gage

February 21, 1958 – January 6, 2017

JoAnne Dee Gage was called home to the Lord on June 1, 2017. She was born on February 21, 1958 in Great Falls to Robert and Beulah Gage. JoAnne graduated from Helena High in 1976.

JoAnne married Bill McCallum and they had two children, Robert and Michele. They were residents of Columbia Falls until Bill and JoAnne divorced and she moved back to Helena.

JoAnne was a dog lover through and through. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and socializing with friends and family. Her sense of humor was contagious and will be sorely missed.

JoAnne is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Bruce.

JoAnne is survived by her son, Robert of Kalispell and daughter Michele of Livingston; sisters, Sandy of East Helena and Barb of Livingston, grandchild, Isaiah, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service potluck is being held for JoAnne and her brother Bruce at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in JoAnne’s name to the Lewis and Clark Humane Society, the American Heart Association, or Frontier Home Health and Hospice.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family. She was my best friend. I have so many memories that it’s hard to pick just one. She was someone you could count on and talk to about anything. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Rest in my friend.

I am so sorry to hear of JoAnne’s death. She and I went to Central School together. I spent quite a few after school times at her home. I remember thinking how lucky it was to live right by a store!! JoAnne always had fun birthday parties. Forgive me if I have this wrong, but I seem to remember that she was the baby of the family and everyone looked after her. She was always kind and gentle and funny and generous.
