A dozen or so of us Stoney Brook residents have been participating in a weekly pool during the NFL season, Joe included. We being Packer fans and Joe a faithful Viking backer, we enjoyed ongoing banter about which team is best. Entering the weekly pool costs $1.00 so we’re talking big money! One week during the 2021 season, Joe picked every game correctly which is pretty amazing. That was one weekend when he should have been in Las Vegas!

Joe was a dear friend for many years. We enjoyed watching Minnesota Viking games and going to dinner and movies. He was always funny and generous. And he loved his cats Velcro and McPhee. We will always miss you, Joe Rest in peace. Jim ,Barb, Shaun, Emmett and Zaliyah

We met Joe when he and my sister got married. He instantly became part of our family and was liked and loved by all. He was kind, supportive, a good listener and always seemed to know just the right thing to say. We will miss him.

To Joe’s family and friends; I am saddened to learn of Joe’s passing. I worked with Joe for many years at Montana Developmental Center. He was one of the most caring, thoughtful people ever. Always a kind word and goofy smile….along with seeming to always be in a bit of a rush. May you each find peace in your memories of this fine gentleman. RIP, Joe
