I served my first hitch in the Navy with Joe on the USS Alamo LSD33 out of San Diego. We were young and full of life. We shared a lot of experiences in 4 years. I introduced Joe to his first wife. One of my lifetime regrets is losing contact with Joe. I stayed in the Navy for 20 years I know it’s late but I offer my sympathies to his family. To share part of my life was a blessing.
