Karel Patricia Traynor, 69 of Helena passed away April 4, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born to Melvin and Eleanor (Pat) Krueger at Kellog, Idaho on December 27, 1951.
She graduated from Drummond High School. Karel met and married Robert Mitton at Drummond. He preceded her in death May 4, 1985. Karel was a professional cook for many years at the D&M Café in Dummond.
Moving to Helena in 1997 she began cooking for St. Mary’s Catholic Priest. She was a member of the Capital Baptist Church. Karel Loved the Lord.
Karel won First Place for singing “These Boots are made for Walking” at the Rialto Theatre at Deer Lodge. She loved to sing.
Karel enjoyed cooking for the family and holidays. She loved wolves, movies and most of all she loved her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Heather Mitton, step son Adam Traynor son Horald Mitton, daughter-in-law Carrie. Also survived by her brother Kenny Krueger and sister Kay Hebb; grandchildren Bradley Mitton, Brittaney McMahan, Kylee Havranek; numerous nieces and nephews. She was also survived by Russell McMahan and many friends and family. She was preceded in death by Robert Mitton, Mel Krueger, Eleanor Krueger and Karen Jorgenson, numerous nieces and nephews.

Mom never meet an animal she did not like or a meal that couldn’t be improved with butter flavor Crisco. You never felt more safe or more loved than in one of her hugs. Love you forever.
