Kenneth Richard McHenry went to be with the Lord on Aug. 18, 2015 in Helena at the age of 72. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Coy McHenry.
Ken was born Oct. 7, 1942 in Livingston to father William and mother Edna. He grew up in the Clyde Park and Wilsall area, moving to Townsend where he graduated from Broadwater County High School. It was there he met and married his wife, Coy Jane (Damuth) McHenry.
Together they raised their four children in the Missoula and Florence area, later spending 28 years in Chinook where Ken worked for the Blaine County road department. He retired after 20 years.
Ken enjoyed riding broncs in rodeos, coaching little league baseball, annual hunting trips with his boys and closest friends, family time and every moment he had with his grandchildren. Ken enjoyed volunteering for events where he could be head cook and talk to people. Ken always loved a good conversation. He could tell the same story a thousand times and it sounded different every time.
Ken was preceded in death by parents, William and Edna; and in-laws Frank Corbett, Ralph and Helen Dupea, Donna Corbett and Darrell Haffner.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife, Coy; children Kevin (Diana), Keleen (Paul), Kim (Nick) and Doug (Michele); mother-in-law Adaline Corbett; grandchildren Kristina, Kaitlin, Kale, Tanner, Alison and Benjamin; siblings Jim, Ron, Wally and Linda; in-laws Allan (Jane), Lynda, Don (Chele) and Lucille; and numerous nieces and nephews.
