Leslie Gail Bracken passed away Sunday morning October 28, 2018 at Big Sky Care Center from complication of a long battle with multiple sclerosis. She was 60 years old.
She was born February 14, 1958 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota to Mary Ellen and Raymond Jensen of Miles City, MT. She was the youngest of three children, two older brothers Jeno and Douglas Jensen.
Leslie’s father passed away when she was 9 years old. Her mom would make her brothers give her rides on their motorcycles. She moved to Helena from Great Falls in the mid 70’s where she had a son Chase and a daughter Melissa.
She worked at R.M.D. with the child care food program. She and Chase fought a 4-year battle with Leukemia and he passed away March 18, 1982 at 7 years old. She married Scott Bracken May 14, 1982. Leslie had numerous jobs around Helena until she found dog grooming. She enjoyed the dogs and their owners. She loved to train her German Shepherds until her MS got the best of her. She liked going to dinner on Wednesday night with the Car Club, so she could give dog cookies to everyone with a dog. She also participated in raising money in raising money for the MS Walk for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Leslie was preceded in death by her son Chase, father Ray, mother Mary and her oldest brother Jeno. She is survived by her husband Scott and daughter Melissa, granddaughter Kylee, two great grandchildren Bentley and Rayleigh and her brother Doug.
Thank you to Big Sky Care Center and all the compassionate people that took such great care of her. Thank you to Big Sky Cremations for all your help during this difficult time. To offer condolences to the family please visit helenafunerals.com

Well, there will be many tails wagging in Heaven since Leslie always had dog biscuits in her pockets. She would hand cookies out to all of us with dogs and my dogs always knew I had them. She will be reunited with her friends, 2-legged and 4-legged. No longer will she be trapped in a body that does not work right. Enjoy playing with the puppies. Say Hi to my Bailey dog. We will miss you, Leslie.
