With great sorrow we say goodbye to a wonderful neighbor and friend. Lester and Joan have been very special people in our life since they moved to Montana and lived next door. Over the years we have gained the most wonderful relationship with them as being nearly family to us. They know we were and are still available to Joan for any help that she needs. Be it a helping hand at home, grocery shopping, doctor visits, taking care of lawn or whatever we will always be there for Joan in this very difficult time.
In his last few days Lester thanked us for all we do for Joan and how much he appreciated it. I know he had great concern for how she would continue on without him. A very special event happened when we were bringing Joan home from visiting him in hospital. He had lost his wedding ring and was very upset for weeks.. She reached down in car and went to pick up a quarter, (she thought was a quarter) It was his wedding band.
Rob said he will miss the tomatoes and onions that they grew on their patio for years. He would help himself every day when he took paper over.
Our prayers go out to the Beebe family
