Marie Annette Poe, 69, of Helena, passed away from natural causes on August 26, 2019. She was born to Francis and Delores (Black) Reed on April 28, 1950 in Roundup, MT.
Marie loved to sew, complete puzzles, play cards and video games, and to socialize. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness faith and enjoyed her fellowship time there. Through the years she worked as a janitor for Ginger’s (now The Eagle’s) in East Helena, Jorgensen’s as a maid, and as a seamstress for Benchmark.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Delores Reed; brothers, Howard Black and Joseph Reed; and sisters, Betty Kehrley and Marilyn Heit.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Reed, daughter, Lin Poe, grandson, Alex Marquardt, and brother Jim Reed.
