Near noon Saturday, July 14, 2012, Elaine lost her short battle with a fast-moving cancer. She was surrounded by her family. Elaine retired from the Federal Reserve Bank and later worked at various motels in the Helena area. Elaine lived in Florida, married Ron Mullikin and had a son, Harry Joe, in 1959. In 1964, she met Don Christianson, whom she married in February 1966. They had daughter, Twila Lyn (Black), and son, D.J.
