47 years ago Mike and I were roommates in Talbot Hall at San Marcos Academy, his junior year, my senior. Mike was a great friend. He always had your back and was quick with a joke, even laughed at his own. His smile lit up the room. Mike encouraged everyone to be the best that they can be, he looked for ways to help others, he was a natural true leader who led with his heart. Even though years pasted without speaking a word, we were life long friends. I will truely miss Mike, as everyone will who had the pleasure of knowing him. Mike loved Jocie and talked about her all the time so it was perfect that they lived happily together, forever.
