Richard D. “Ricky†Jacques, 60, of Helena passed away August 27. He was born October 20, 1951 in Great Falls, MT to Joseph L. and Jo An Peavler Jacques.
He enlisted in the United States Army in October 1968 serving as a medic, receiving his honorable discharge in November of 1971.
He married Carol Zimmer in 1977. Two children were born to this marriage, Jennifer and Stacey. They later divorced.
Ricky worked as a cook in various restaurants including Sun Canyon in Augusta.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph L. Jacques III. He is survived by his mother, Jo An of East Helena, two daughters, Jennifer and Stacey of South Dakota, two brothers, Leonard (Naomi) of Sumner, Washington, James of Butte, two sisters, Jeannine (Mark) Smith Great Falls, Annette of Helena, and two grandchildren, Makayla and Samantha of South Dakota.
Graveside service will be held 2:30pm, Friday, August 31 at Montana State Veterans Cemetery with military honors. Twichel Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family with the services.
