I want to express my deepest sympathy to Rick’s family on his passing. I have very good memories of Rick while growing up in Harlow. I spent part the summer of 1973 with Rick working on a railroad tie gang near Avery Idaho. I was 17 and Rick was 16. What a great adventure and Rick could sure tell stories about it. I also played football with Rick and what a great guy to have as a teammate. I will always remember him and am so glad I knew him. He always would make you laugh.

Ricky was a nice, pleasant man that I remember fondly. I think he was the best outta the bunch of em, besides Dick and Dorris of course. I wish there had been a ceremony and I wish I could have put my issues with my father aside to be with him more before his passing. I remember watching all the Alien films at his house with him and my dad, and he always had a stash of good books for me to read. I used to look at this shiny glass chess set he had and I was never allowed to touch it, until one day he gave it to me. I still have it and I still bust it out from time to time. I just wish got more from my dad’s side than a chess set and one good uncle. See ya on the flipside, uncle Ricky.
