Robin R. Morgan , born August 28,1959, in Helena, MT and was called home to her Lord and Savior on April 5, 2015. She is the daughter of Don and Vel Olsen.
Robin spent most of her career as a bartender, until she became co-owner of a local business, The Leather Store and More. Robin ran this business with her husband of 16 years, Lonnie R. Morgan. They married May 8, 1999 in Helena.
She loved what she did and everything that came with it. She spent many hours on putting together Customer Appreciations and Fundraisers. Her favorite fundraiser was anything with the Montana Hope Project. She was very much a people person, there wasn’t one person she meet that she didn’t like. Robin had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, if she was able too.
In her spare time she loved riding her beloved trike, collecting antiques and her beloved roses. She spent as much time with her loving family as possible. The most important times with her family was family get together’s, no matter what it was. Robin enjoyed putting everything together and making the best of it. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie; Dad, Don; children, Monty, Cameron, and Ashley; granddaughter Priscilla (Silly); siblings, Damon (Tammy), Dennis, Judy (Tracy), Brenda (Todd), Amber and Dusty ; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mom Vel.

Robin and I had some fun times. I got bored one night and made Robin a picture with her initials and her favorite flower the rose, She loved it so much that she had it next to her bed most of the time. Even though things didn’t go as planned I will still forever miss her. She was like my second mom and will never forget her.

I worked with Robin many years ago, before the Leather Store and she was always there for me and my family. If it was cold outside, she would insist that she give me a ride home from work. She accepted my faults and we would talk a lot back then. She was a great person and she will be missed.

Robin was always supportive and loving. Even though she had her own obstacles to overcome she always had time to listen and help me with mine. She was like a big sister to me the past 30 years. I will always remember the last night you spent with me a couple weeks ago . I wish I would have hugged you a little tighter when we said our goodbyes. Fly high with the angels. Love you.

I met Robin back in 1993 when I was working for the Ford Dealership. I sold her the first car she had ever bought. A 1992 Ford Probe. She loved that car! We have been great friends ever since. She would stop in occasionally to visit with me. Always got a hug and a kiss when she left. You will always be in my heart Robin! Rest now sweet lady!

We were very saddened by Robin’s passing. There are no words to express herrhthe grief that the family deals with at a time like this. Now she can walk free in that field of roses that were her favorite flower. Our deepest condolences. Denny and Melanie Davis.

I am so very, saddened and sorry for your loss. There really aren’t the right words to express it. Robin truely was an amazing, caring woman. She encouraged me to take the safety class and even provided me with a voucher to help pay for it. She is the reason I found motorcycling and in that I have found peace and adventure that is indescribable. I have met so many people that I treasure so deeply because of Robin. The world really is a little dimmer without her, however I hope she has found peace and open roads.
Jessica Little says
I am very saddened and sorry to hear of Robin’s passing. There are not quite the right words to describe the pain of losing a person like her. My sympathies, love and thoughts of support go out to Lonnie and the rest of Robin’s family, I know how deeply she loved you.
I met Robin about 8 years ago through, at that time, my boyfriend and she shared her love and passion with motorcycles with me. After my break up she also shared her independent, carefree way of life. I worked near TLS and would give myself any excuse to stop in to enjoy the store and spend time with Robin. Even after the store closed in the downtown I would often find an excuse to be in East Helena and find myself at her house.
She helped sponser female motorcyclists in the State Motorcycle Safety class and had vouchers to help pay for it. She offered me one when I was thinking of buying my own motorcycle and then after passing my class she sold me her very own beautiful rose engraved motorcycle. I have met many treasured friends and had many more adventures because Robin opened the door to them.
She was a woman who would speak her own mind or do what she thought right or best, no matter the trouble it might get her in. She was a lioness and if you were lucky enough to have the bond of friendship and family that she offered, you know what a rare treasure she was.
My world is not as bright this morning as I heard this news but I hope that she has found the peace, love and open roads that she deserved.

I was a friend of Robins for 40 some odd years. I am devistated at her passing. She always had a smile and a hug no matter what was going on. I know years ago when i was in a very deep dark depression she saved me. I never thanked her enough for that and being a friend. I cant believe she gone. The last time i saw her and Lonnie, it was a beautiful day and they were out for a ride. I hope she is on another beautiful ride. Robin love you and miss you forever.
