Kay, I am sorry for your loss. Roy was a great man. I will never forget all the times he spent with Kyle and I playing pool. How greatful Kyle was for golf, skiing, and driving lessons. You all have had a great impact on my life and for that I am thankfully. You all will always be in my thoughts and part of my life.

Roy was a good friend and such a gentle person. I met Roy and his beautiful wife Kay through my husband Herb. Roy and Herb were very good friends for many years. We as a family enjoyed many 4th of July’s at our Butte home with the Hickman family and many visits to the Hickman home when our children were young. We had many laughs, good meals and enjoyed just being with Roy and his beautiful family. You will be missed Roy but your old pal, Herb Venner will be waiting for you with a Golf club in one hand and a nice cold beer in the other. May you rest in peace wonderful Roy. All my love, Kitty Venner

Thank you so much, Aaron. What a nice, personal note. My Mom really appreciates it. She remembers all the fun times with you and Kyle with great fondness. (She asked me to respond since she’s not entirely comfortable with the computer — Kelly).

Rita, Thank you for this post. My Dad loved the Cardio Rehab program so much. He was always sharing stories of his friends there. I am glad you picked up on his catch phrase (Fantastic)… it was one of his favorites, no matter how he might have really felt. My Mom and I appreciate your kind words. (Kelly, Kay’s daughter posting since she’s not as comfortable with the computer).

Kitty, What a lovely note! My Mom will reach out to you via email or Facebook (she’s not 100% sure how to use this platform). I remember with so much fondness all our times in Butte on the 4th. We really had some great times together. I also love what you wrote about Herb. He will indeed be waiting to welcome my Dad, and I feel comforted that they may once again be able to play golf and have a beer together. Love you, Kelly.
